1995: Rabee Securities (RS) was established.
1999: Shwan I. Taha & Nausheruan Baban took over RS.
2018: RSconverted to PJSC on Feb 25, 2018, with capital IQD2.05 bn.
2021: RS acquired the Turkish Company MELAK Investments.
2023: MELAK’s name has been changed to Rabee Yatırım ve Danışmanlık LTD ŞTİ. Rabee Yatırım is fully owned by RS and its team fully supports RS in research and analysis services.
2010: RS website and Bloomberg page were established.
2021: RS sponsored “Stock Market Week”, a weekly program on Iraq 24, Iraq’s premium business channel.
2022: RS launched Rabee App, as the first online trading application of ISX.
2011: Two branches were opened in Erbil and Suleymani.
2012: RS received ISC’s permission to open an office in Istanbul, Turkey. (RS’s subsidiary in Turkey named
“Rabee Yatirim ve Danismanlik Ltd.” conducts advisory activities, and it is fully owned by RS.)
2011: RS held the First IRAQ Conference at the Rotana Hotel in Erbil, IRAQ on October 12-13, 2011.
2012: RS held the Second IRAQ Conference on November 7-8, 2012 at the Rotana Hotel in Erbil, IRAQ.
2013: RS held the Third IRAQ Conference on October 1-3, 2013 at the Rotana Hotel in Erbil, IRAQ.
2022: RS hosted a 3-day event (7-9 March) at the Iraq Pavilion at Dubai EXPO 2020 to showcase Iraq’s top technology startups. RS is focusing on helping Iraqi startup companies.
